Common questions

Can I try it without a Hetzner account?
Yes. Tap Try the demo on first launch: you get a sample fleet with servers, snapshots, firewalls and two running automations. It makes no network requests.

Where do I get an API token?
In the Hetzner Cloud Console: select your project, then Security → API Tokens → Generate. Choose Read & Write if you want to perform actions, or Read for a monitoring-only setup.

Where is my token stored?
In the iOS Keychain, on your device. It is sent only to Hetzner Cloud over HTTPS. There is no backend server in this app, so there is nowhere else for it to go.

What do the automations actually do?
Two workflows, on a daily or one-off schedule. Power off → Snapshot → Delete retires a server while keeping its disk as a snapshot. Create from snapshot → Power on brings it back. Used together, a server exists only during the hours you need it.

Do automations run when the app is closed?
Schedules are evaluated by the app. Keep it installed and open it periodically so pending runs are executed; the next run time is always shown on the Automations screen.

Is anything behind a paywall?
No. Every feature is included, with no Pro tier and no subscription.
